educational space and toolset for storytelling

The educational space of the current Verstärker initiative at Haus Bastian, invites pupils to engage in a creative, interactive, and immersive exploration of objects from the collection of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz.

In this space, pupils take on the roles of storytellers and roleplayers, transforming chosen objects into characters within a larger narrative. Each object is brought to life with unique traits, backstories, and motivations, grounded in its historical and material context. This dynamic approach merges factual research with imaginative storytelling through playful mechanisms and multisensory, interactive stations.

Through this process, the objects themselves are given a sense of agency—they become active participants in the narratives, shaping and influencing the stories rather than being passive artifacts. Objects as dynamic entities with evolving roles, sparking curiosity and fostering deeper connections to their histories and potential futures.
